If you're looking for some true Southern comfort food, Iron Skillet in Conyers is a must-visit! I had the Nashville hot chicken with mac and cheese, and Jessica had the chicken tenders with collard greens. Everything came out piping hot and was absolutely delicious. You could swear somebody's Meemaw was back in the kitchen cooking with love!
What really made the experience stand out, though, was the service. The staff was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed without ever being overbearing. The owner even came over to introduce himself and personally make sure everything was to our liking. He was genuinely kind, welcoming, and clearly takes pride in his restaurant.
Great food, great people, and an all-around fantastic experience. We'll definitely be back! -
Absolutely amazing experience! We arrived 19min before opening, and the sweetest 8yr old gentleman opened the door and told us to come on in. While waiting for our food, the owner gave us a tour of the building telling us about the history. Every employee was so kind and the food was amazing. We are from MS and we know pot roast and mashed potatoes.....these did not disappoint. Do not sleep on this amazing business! They are cooking amazing food, and raising real gentleman. I will make sure to come by whenever we are in the area!

The food here is amazing. Such a great variety that you can’t go wrong with whatever you select. CAtfish served daily. I had the meatloaf, cabbage and Mac and Cheese. It all was well seasoned and delicious. The cashier Laoni was very friendly and although it a buffet selection, they put it on the plate for you and bring it to your table.
Highly recommend if you are ever in the Conyers area. The restaurant is in the historic area of town with cute boutiques and sweet shops, plus FREE parking!

A perfect little spot for a laid-back meal and good company.
