I’m sitting outside writing this. The wait staff was busy and didn’t really have time to acknowledge me I guess... I was just picking up an order, but stood waiting and takeout attendant (- new young pleasant man) was clearly busy. Staff walked past trying to complete whatever they were doing, but the COOK HERSELF who was clearly VERY BUSY stopped for a moment and greeted me and handed me my already ready bag. Kudos to her. She is excellent !! That really stood out to me. I wish I could have left my tip directly to her!!

1) Wasn't greeted when I walked in with only 3 tables having customers seated.
2) My server CL or LC,can't make out the name on the receipt walked up with a minimum greeting. I asked if she would ask the cook if they could put mayo on my grilled cheese she looked back and said we're not busy so they should.
3) As she Yelled my order out she walked closer to the cook as said can you do me a favor,and proceeded to ask for the mayo on my grilled cheese.
4) I got my sandwich Before my drink and waited 5 minutes for my Dry sausage to come to the table.
5) As other customers came in they were Greeted,Yet I wasn't.
6) My server stood talking to people in front of the register,not once checking on me.
7) You're tip is 0. Today by how this interaction went. -
Stopped at Waffle House and had a disappointing experience. I came in and no one spoke or acknowledged me. I waited at the register while the customer in front of me paid, but instead of helping me next, the waitress walked away to pack a to-go bag and then started cleaning tables. Still no hello, no “be right with you,” nothing. After waiting without any acknowledgment, I left and drove 15 minutes to another Waffle House location where the customer service was excellent from the moment I walked in. A simple greeting and acknowledgment go a long way.

It's always great to visit these Waffle Houses. Solid food for solid pricing and solid service. Not the cleanest restaurant around, but not dirty. Quick ordering to food to payment process. No wifi. Employees are friendly. Food was good, although a slice of American for cheese hashbrowns is wild. Not bad, but an interesting choice for sure.
