    Extremely Disappointing Dining Experience
I’m usually the type of person who will eat a bland meal and make the best of it, but this was honestly one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had. The food was so disappointing that my children barely ate anything, and anyone with teenage boys knows that says A LOT. 😩
We were celebrating my son’s birthday, and he was especially disappointed because he originally wanted to go to Provino’s in Snellville. I suggested we support a local neighborhood restaurant instead, and unfortunately, I regret that decision.
I ordered the eggplant Parmesan, my son ordered the chicken Alfredo seafood dish, and we also had spaghetti with meat sauce, calamari, and other sides. Unfortunately, everything was extremely bland and underwhelming. There was virtually no seasoning in anything.
The eggplant Parmesan was the biggest problem. The eggplant was not cooked properly. I could barely cut through it with my knife, and the breading was mushy and tasted more like raw batter than crispy breading. I make eggplant Parmesan at home and order it regularly from Italian restaurants, so I know what properly cooked eggplant Parmesan should taste and feel like. I had to send it back.
Our waiter handled the situation professionally and was very calm, but when he returned with the kitchen’s explanation that the eggplant was supposed to be mushy because it was sitting in sauce, I simply couldn’t agree with that. Properly prepared eggplant Parmesan should not be practically impossible to cut through.
The meat sauce tasted like burnt meat mixed with Ragu, and the garlic bread seemed barely cooked and tasted like dough. The calamari had far more breading than actual squid. The shrimp and scallops tasted overly fishy and, to me, did not taste fresh.
The salad was honestly the best thing we had, although even the dressing was bland.
What made this experience even worse was the price. After sending food back and not trusting the kitchen to remake it, we still spent over $85 for three meals. That’s a lot of money to spend on food that my children didn’t even want to eat or take home.
I genuinely feel bad that my son’s birthday meal turned out this way. 🎂💔
I’m all for supporting local businesses, but cutting corners on ingredients, seasoning, and preparation is not the way to save money. You can taste the difference.
Unfortunately, I will not be returning. If I could give zero stars, I would. Save yourself the disappointment and spend the extra few miles driving to Provino’s. In my experience, it’s worth the trip.

I had the shrimp & lobster fettuccine for lunch. OMGoodnezz, unbelievable! It was creamy and delicious, and was fresh and hot. The house salad and bread……no words. I was so full from the salad and bread that I had to take most of the pasta to go. My server, Morgan, was outstanding. She was very attentive and sweet. This may be my weekly treat to myself. Can’t wait to go back.

Horrible horrible definition of Italian food! Went there for the first time Friday and was excited to try this place and now regret it! Ordered some stuffed mushrooms for an appetizer and they were just watery and bland! Also the sausage stuffing was super mushy and nasty! Didn’t taste like sausage at all! The bread sticks were doughy with some garlic just thrown on em! My pasta had chicken and sausage in it, the sausage was super mushy like Viennas and the chicken was dry with no seasoning! This place is trash! Will never go here again!!!! Service was good tho!

We love eating here when craving simple Italian food. This was the first time I was a little let down by the food though. The appetizers were delicious, fried ravioli and fried mozzarella with marinara sauce, and the garlic bread is always fabulous! However, our main entrees were disappointing. My husband ordered the Italian Sampler which has lasagna, beef and cheese ravioli, manicotti, and baked ziti. When he got it, it was just a red sauce-looking dish covered in a mound of cheese. He said it was good but should have been plated differently or presented differently. My red snapper francese was delicious but it was three tiny pieces swimming in almost an inch of wine sauce. When the waitress brought it to me, it almost overflowed on me. Other than those small issues it tasted wonderful and we had an amazing time !
