Food was ridiculous, hamburger steak no seasoning, gravy no seasoning tasted like straight water , mashed potatoes JUST PLAIN NO SEASON not even a speck of butter , pinto beans looked liked red beans with no flavor at all. Corn bread taste like water bread. The yams were great even the grape kool-aid lemonade they serve. This my 3rd time coming here and the food wasn't right. I was spending some money at this place, but it won't happen anymore.The manager don't know how to run that place or business. Everyone needs to be re trained on how to cook there. If you want great tasting food take you and your money else where.

Great Breakfast !!!
We returned 2 1/2 hours later for early dinner. Ordered smothered steak, collard greens, white potatoes, lima beans, white rice, corn bread, peach cobbler, and sweet tea. Everything home made from scratch. True Down Home Southern Style Cooking. Hats Off, Thumbs Up, Mouth Watering, Lips Smacking GOOD. Great Prices, Great Selections, Great Service, Clean and Great Hospitality, Polite and Friendly Staff and Service. The Kitchen Staff are Seasoned Veterans and some of the customers were first time patrons ( like me) and a good crowd regular attendees .
We enjoyed our visit to Mammy Kitchen. Definitely, we (I) will attend every opportunity I get. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ -
I often bringing my family and friends here Unfortunately my experience today was very disappointing and has led me to decide not to return. I can deal with order mistakes but not rudeness. One of my orders had grits with cheese, but after driving all the way home, I realized there was no cheese in them. I returned to the restaurant to address the issue, expecting a simple resolution. When I explained to the employee at the counter, Savannah, that I did not taste any cheese, she politely insisted that it was included. She then relayed my concern to the chef, Tiffany, who responded in an aggressive tone, stating in front of me that the grits did have cheese and that next time I should order extra cheese since I don’t taste any. 😳 I am still in shock. It’s only 9 in the am why the attitude. This response was both dismissive and unprofessional. The issue was not just the missing cheese, but the way the situation was handled. As a paying customer, I expect to be treated with respect when raising a concern. Being spoken about in that manner, especially in my presence, was unacceptable.
I have supported this business consistently, but due to this experience, I will no longer be returning. Respectful customer service should be a priority, and unfortunately, that was not demonstrated today. -
Absolutely delicious!!! Everything was perfectly seasoned and the portions are generous. The staff was super friendly, attentive and helpful. 10/10 !!! Highly recommend this spot

From the moment you walk through the door, you feel right at home. The staff is welcoming, attentive, and makes you feel like family. The food? Absolutely delicious. Everything tastes as wonderful as it looks, homemade, fresh, and full of that true Southern comfort flavor you just can’t fake.
