I’ll start by saying we have been here several times, and to the location in Monroe. Tonight we were very disappointed. The food here was okay but the service was almost nonexistent. We had to flag down our waiter, Jaiver, for our drink refills, this was after about 15 minutes with several empty cups. He would often disappear for awhile at a time. We came for a birthday dinner which makes the experience even more upsetting. One of our salads came with the wrong dressing, we ordered sushi when we sat down and it came after our dinner. For the prices there, you should at least receive good service. Gratuity is included so it seems that they don’t have to work for their tips and it shows. I am not happy. I have never had an experience at a fancy restaurant be so terrible. The ownership has been changed and it should be beneficial for the customers but was not. I will not be returning to this place again.

First time eating conveyor belt sushi and I liked it. Very clean and new looking establishment. Staff is very kind and tentative. Food was very good.

Went there for their REVOLVING SUSHI BAR and disappointed. It was not as great compared to when they first started. There weren’t that many options to choose from, so you were stuck with what they have for you. If you are a fan of deep fried rolls with cream cheese in it or excess amounts of sauce, then scroll along. I wish there were more nigiri versus the fancy rolls without the extra stuff on it. Couldn’t even get through the spicy tuna roll without scraping the excess mayo off. Fortunately the price was decent for what it was, so no complaints there.

Came for my boyfriends birthday 5/23.. As u can see the food does not look good. The lady who took our order was sweet until the end she seen my plate was barely touched because it was horrible . Chef didn't even greet us, He repeated everyone's order & That was it almost left without asking if we wanted Yumyum or Teriyaki thank god the lady next to me asked, as i did have to repeat it to him because he could not hear maybe because it's very loud.. We sat in silence as a whole because the energy wasn't there. This is HIBACHI. My issue was the burnt rice & burnt egg in the rice you could see & taste the burntness & lo mein being hard & distasteful , never have i been anywhere and my LO MEIN looks like that. My bill went from $90-116 with gratuity plus taxes. It's never about the $$ but if i'm paying that my food should be perfect. Never will i return, i wanted to like this place so bad. Had the chef would've put his all into it (cooking wise) then maybe we'd have a better experience.

Felt for some sushi and I was in the area so I decided to give new Tokyo a try. We did not have to wait long and I ordered the new Tokyo sushi roll which was fried and another specialty roll that I thought was very good.. My friend had a seafood noodle/ ramen that was really really good. She gave me some and it was tasty. It was very busy today and I thought they needed more servers but overall, I would go back there again
