Uncle Butch’s Chicken and Waffles is an absolute must-visit! I took my sons there for their birthday brunch, and we ended up trying a little bit of everything—and every single bite was delicious. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made our celebration feel even more special. You cannot leave without trying the peach cobbler waffles; they are absolutely amazing and a total game-changer!

First time trying and I had a great experience. The restaurant has a clean, bright ambiance with good soul music playing in the background. The staff was friendly and attentive throughout our visit. They offer a variety of waffles--Red Velvet, Fruity Pebbles, Strawberry, and lots more! Our entrees (Steak and Eggs, Papi's Scramble) were flavorful and well prepared. And the fried alligator bites, which were seasoned perfectly and my favorite, made a tasty appetizer. And we got a delicious treat for being first time visitors! Overall, the food, atmosphere, and service made for an enjoyable dining experience, and we'd be happy to return. Also, 15% gratuity is automatically added and credit/debit card only--no cash.

Myself and companion was in that side of town to go to BJ’s. She pointed the spot out and we decided to go there. We had got out off church so it was like around 2. When we walked it was small and tight. It was packed. The hostess asked if we wanted to sit at a high top and we said we will wait for a booth. 30 minutes we stood there or it was like 20. First in must say our waiter was awesome I forgot his name and the hostess was really nice. I give them much respect for their patience and hospitality. I had the shrimp and grits with the turkey sausage and she had wings and peach cobbler waffles deep fried. Never heard or had before. Delicious and waffles was crazy stoopid good and I don’t eat waffles like that. We found a new spot. It was worth the wait. It was worth the 45 minute drive. Customer service was on point while being busy.Whatever the chef and workers was on that Sunday please don’t lose it.

We (party of 5) decided to eat here after a stretch class this past Sunday morning around 11AM. We walked in, we were greeted by the lady behind the counter, and put put our name on the list. We only waited for about 20 minutes outside.
Once inside and seated, it took about 5 minutes before our server came over to take our drink orders. Once we received our drinks we had to ask for straws.
We ordered our food, it didn't take long, but 1 of my niece's never received her waffle even after asking twice about it. The server finally brought it out, but we were pretty much done with our food so she asked for a to-go container.
I had the Catfish Breakfast Plate and added on the Cinnamon Roll waffle. The waffle tasted great! The catfish wasn't hot, just warm which was disappointing. My sister tried the Deep Fried Pecan Praline waffle...definitely would NOT recommend a deep fried waffle because it was extremely greasy, but that was expected.
I would try this spot again, maybe during the weekday if I were to be in the area and especially if I wanted a fluffy waffle.
1 thing that I didn't necessarily like was that the food is served on a charger plate and it kept sliding/spinning while using the fork to pick up the food. I think it would be better if they placed the food on a regular dinner plate and used the charger plate underneath.

I personally think it's hard to find a good restaurant in the Conyers/Covington area. However we were looking for a brunch spot and decided to try this place out. The parking lot was small and it was pretty full. As we were walking in a worker was wiping down a bench and greeted us warmly. We only had to wait about 10 mins for a table and once seated our waiter (Michael) I believe, got us taken care of with our orders and drinks. Our food came out so fast I was barely able to blink. lol. Waffles were absolutely delicious! Chicken was crispy and had great flavor. Really looking forward to trying some of their other menu options. The place is small but they are quick with getting people in and out. There was hand sanitizer available for all the seating and everyone was very nice and friendly.
They even remembered to bring my ranch out without me having to ask multiple times. They did an awesome job with this place and I hope the service and quality continues to stay exceptional!
